Jurnal Esensi Hukum accepts two types of manuscripts. Every manuscript must be a scholarly work in legal studies and must fall within the journal's Focus and Scope.

Research article

A research article reports the results of legal research. It presents the research method as a separate chapter after the Introduction. The method chapter covers the type of research, the approach, the sources of legal materials or data, the collection techniques, and the analysis method.

Conceptual article

A conceptual article develops a conceptual idea in legal studies. It discusses only the approach of the study, at the end of the Introduction.
